Feet to travel

Can you believe it’s already March? Before you know it everyone will have their travel plans figured out. I don’t want to leave myself behind. So to be honest with you, I have already booked a few escapes.

As mentioned in my previous post, I’m a born planner. I see minute planning as foreseeing what could possibly go wrong in my perfect vision of a holiday, and then make sure that that worst case scenario is taken care of. Before it even happens. Call me psychic ? I don’t think so. Just a very healthy dosis of common sense and extreme realism.

Yoga retreats catering for families

When researching several yoga retreats through https://www.bookyogaretreats.com/, I enquired about yoga classes for kids and babysitting options. One of the retreats gave me a very blunt answer that although they were listed as a “family” yoga retreat, there were no classes for kids and I was not allowed to leave my children unattended in our room. The cheek – as if !!!

I finally settled on a very welcoming yoga retreat in Sicily. Just me and my three lovely children. Yes, you read that correctly. Me and my three children. Off to Sicily. On a yoga retreat. There are yoga and meditation classes for mum. And yoga classes for my son (10y) and daughter (8y). Did I mention the baby of almost 10 months ?

Anyways, to make this trip fair and enjoyable for all, I have gone the little extra mile in luxuries and asked my trusted babysitter to join us on holiday. Fortunately for us, she is more than delighted to join us.

Live the adventures you were born to take!
