This is Savasana

What’s all the fuss about Savasana being the hardest pose at the end of yoga practice ? Look at my little baby. It’s heaven and it comes naturally. If you allow it. Just close your eyes and think of nothing.

Meditation is just letting go of your thoughts. Sit still, with your spine lengthened straight and your eyes closed. Don’t try not to think. This won’t work. Instead let your mind wander. Watch as your thoughts drift up and past you, but don’t grab hold of any single thought. Let it just drift by. Keep watching as one by one, your thoughts fill your head and then leave your mind just as airily. Feel the sensation of becoming lighter and lighter.

Success shortcut : meditation power in just minutes

Meditation improves how your brain functions and helps you to handle stress better. I even feel more positive in the days after meditation sessions. Of course it’s just the feeling of being more successful, productive and happy than before. But it’s the feeling that gives you the charisma and the spring in your step to actually achieve what you set out to do.

If you have the time, you can practice at following an hours worth of guided meditation, or you can go for shorter meditations of just a quarter of an hour. No matter how much time you have at hands, it’s not the quantity but the quality of your mindful relaxation. You’ll notice how much more centred you’ll feel. Learn to put your stress into perspective, find happiness on your journey, feel healthy and rejuvenated. You’ll experience more deep sleep, waking up feeling refreshed and productive days where you manage to achieve all you set out to do.

Creating a New Normal

Make practicing meditation part of your daily routine. If you set aside a couple of minutes in the morning when waking up, and some minutes before bedtime, you will soon notice how easy your life begins to flow, and how your meditation becomes part of your normal daily life. In fact, you’ll find that after time, you won’t want to miss your sessions.
